You turn on the heating and the building is warm.
In summer, you turn on the cooling and the system maintains the temperature. Your boiler and air conditioner can do this by default, but what more can Loxone do for you?
Read onLoxone doesn't just work with one heat source. During winter, for example, it lets in the heat from the sun and uses it as long as it can, adjusting the extra energy from the boiler accordingly. In summertime, it automatically starts the cooling ventilation, increasing the energy efficiency of the system.
You don't have to settle for a simple thermostat switch. With ModBus or KNX control, the system can take over control of the heat generating units. Because you have information about everything. It measures the temperature in every room, even outside on the terrace, so you can manage your needs much more efficiently.
You can even control the temperature per room. You sleep much better in the bedroom when it's a little cooler. And in the bathroom, it's nice to have a little extra warmth in the morning. All these things can be taught into the system and it can even produce them without using extra energy.
The Loxone Miniserver has a unique self-learning system. It monitors the building, changes in incoming information and analyses it. It can therefore react in time to events that occur regularly. For example, if you cook regularly, it will turn down the heating in the kitchen before you start cooking so that it is not too hot. Or in the bathroom, it knows when to turn on the extra power so that when you get up, it's already warm inside.
The Miniserver senses and measures everything. The bathroom and the boiler are often not next to each other, so when you turn on the tap in the bathroom, it takes a minute or two for the hot water to come on. But if the ceiling presence sensor also starts the HMW circulating pump along with the lights, it's much sooner. Of course, you can ignore this and run the pump all the time, but this means thousands of extra pounds a month in consumption.
